THE SLUMBER PARTY!!!

Wow!!! Why did my mother let me have a slumber party ever year for my birthday. She must have had alot of patience. I'm still sleepy. The girls did not go to sleep until 3:00 a.m. But I guess all that matters is that Diamond enjoyed herself. The party consisted of 9 very active girls. lol. We went out to eat at Cheddars Restaurant (poor waiter), then we came back home and then the real party started. There was lots of laughs (screams), dancing, and anything that you can imagine. Awww Unit 60!!!!

Everyone that knows me, knows that I have a love / hate relationship with my job. Of course I'm blessed to have a job, but it can be very stressful at times being a supervisor. I really enjoy and care about my unit. We have a close relatioship and we get along (usually). lol. Anyway, the other day my unit sent me this to my house as a get well present. They are sooo sweet. They are the reason that I still work at that place.

Diamond's Birthday

Can you believe that my baby is going to be 9 years old in 15 more days? Wow!!! She is really growing into a young lady. I'm sooo proud of her. This year for her birthday, she wants to have a slumber party. HELP!!! We agreed that she could invite no more than 10 girls and they are going to go out to eat at Cheddars and party the rest of the night out at home. I'm looking for any volunteers out there that may want to help. lol. Here is Diamond's invitation for her birthday. (I deleted my address and phone number. Father of all mercies

We ask that you would bless

the youngest and littlest of learners,

the most helpless and powerless of persons,

with Your infinite and loving mercy,

granting them the strength to learn, concentrate,

and act appropriately towards their teachers and fellow students.

We also ask that You would watch over them,

at home and at school

and grant them proper direction so that they may learn

of Your wonderful virtues.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today is the first day of school. Diamond and KJ were both sooo excited about school this morning. My babies are growing up so fast. Before I know it they will be graduating from high school.

Prayer & Lortab

I pray every morning and night and sometimes a few times during the day. I'm having a hard time not being able to move and go like I please. This is real hard for me. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday for a follow up. I hate depending on people to help me. Kendall and the children have been wonderful and very helpful, but I want to do it on my own. Tomorrow is the first day of school for the children. Diamond will be in the 4th grade and KJ will be in Kindergarden. WOW!! I pray that they have a wonderful and blessed day. It will be a quite day in my house tomorrow. (YEAH!!) Diamond and KJ both just got punished from playing with their DS games (Super Mario Bros and MarioKart). It never fails that they fuss over this two games, so I took them away and they are not allowed to play with them. My patience is very short since I can't move around like I want to. Please keep me in your prayers.

First Day of School

The first day of school is only in 3 days. Diamond will be in 4th grade and KJ will be in Kindergarden. My babies are growing up so fast. It seems like yesterday that Diamond first started school. Yesterday Kendall was able to meet KJ's new teacher, and this afternoon Kendall will be able to meet Diamond's new teacher. I really wish I could be there, but of course I can't walk yet. The children are both excited about starting school. :)

BUNION BE-GONE!!!

Thanks to Dr. Parker, the bunion has been removed. Yeah!!! The surgery was a success and now I'm glued to the couch and feeling good. Thanks to Lortab. lol. I have wear this black shoe for 10 days then I can wear a real comfortable tennis shoe. Did I mention I also have to use crutches? Talk about tiring. I hope I heal quickly, because I need to get Marshalls soon. I love that store and I might miss a good deal. (Just kidding). I know I need to take my time and heal.

SURGERY!!!!

Only 2 more days!!! In two days I will have surgery on my right foot because of a bunion. Today I went to the podiatrist so I could get measured for my orthotics. I'm usually on the go and I will have to stay off of my feet. I won't be able to drive. OMG!!! Please pray that I don't lose my mind.

Downtown Aquarium

Today we went to the Downtown Aquarium. It was really hot today, but we really enjoyed ourselves. The children were excited to see all of the animals and get on the rides. I have to be honest, I was exicted also.

First Day of School!!!

Wow....can you believe that the first day of school is approaching quickly. Diamond will be in the 4th grade and KJ will be in Kindergarden. The Harris children are going up so fast. Where did the time go? I'm soooo proud of those two. I will make sure that I post First Day of School pictures.

HARRIS MINI VACATION!!!

This past weekend we went on a mini vacation to Tyler, Texas. We stayed at our time share. Everyone had a BLAST!!! These are some pictures of our wonderful trip. I can't wait to go back. While we were there, we went swimming, fishing, and did some relaxing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!

Today is my mommy's birthday. I wish she could have been here to celebrate her birthday. I know she is in a better place and happy. I prayed out loud this morning in the car to give me strength to make it through the day, so I would not be sad and depressed. Well, as soon as I finished praying, I turned the volume back up on the radio. Guess what?? One of my mommy's favorite songs, "Oh Happy Day" was playing on the radio. Maybe I'm crazy but I really think that was a sign from God telling me that everything would be o-kay.

Well Diamond and KJ both enjoyed themselves at Chuck E Cheese. Guess what? KJ is no longer afraid of Chuck E and he even took a picture with him. He is really becoming a BIG boy. After we left Chuck E Cheese we went on our traditional trip to the circus. BOO!!!! The circus was awful. I'm pretty happy that we got the tickets for free. Thanks Sharon.

Tomorrow starts a new week. Hopefully it will go by fast. Lord, I lift the Harris Posse up to You and ask that You would cover us with the blood of Jesus, and put a hedge of protection around us. Protect our spirit, body, mind, and emotions from any kind of evil or harm. I pray specifically for protection from all kinds of accidents, disease, injury, physical abuse, mental abuse, or emotional abuse. AMEN!!!

TGIF!!!! This has been a long week for everyone. This week has gone by pretty slooow. Tomorrow we are going to the circus. Yea Circus!! It's a tradition that we take the children to the circus every year. I will let everyone know how the circus turns out.
